Waungron Road Recycling Centre

Following our successful completion of the Bessemer Close Civic Amenity Recycling Site, Horan Construction Ltd. won the contract for a similar development of the Waungron Road Household Waste Recycling Centre in Fairwater. Based on our design for the Bessemer Close facility, this contract was a prime example of how a well-designed and well-executed refurbishment can breathe new life into an old and dilapidated refuse site.

 

The new site was re-opened by Councillor Rodney Berman – then leader of Cardiff County Council – after the £1,000,000 works were completed.
